19483 Pte William Flint - 1st (Garrison) Bn Lincolnshire Regiment. He enlisted on 28th July 1915 went to India and joined 8th (Lucknow) Presidency Brigade Indian Army. The 8th Lucknow Division was a formation of the British Indian Army's Northern Army, first formed as a result of the Kitchener reforms of the Indian Army in 1903. The Division remained in India on internal security duties during the Great War.
I have, as yet, been unable to locate William's service records but I am forever searching. William was taken to Darjeeling to board Hospital Ship Karoola in 1916 and arrived back in UK 1917, he was finally discharged on 10th March 1917.
William was, for a short time, also previously in Grenadier Guards:
